Happy March to all! It will be nice to have a jump start into Spring with the early Daylight Savings change, and I hope everybody is able to successfully deal with the change on your computers. Thanks for everybody’s input on the issue.

SECRETARY’S MINUTES

 

The February meeting of the Santa Barbara Bookkeepers’ Association was held at Mulligan’s Café on Tuesday, February 21, 2007.

 

President Karen Mora called the meeting to order and then asked for any guests or new members to introduce themselves.

 

The free lunch was won by Kathy Leer.

 

Our guest speaker was Sandra O’Meara, CPA. Sandy shared much information on how to achieve bookkeeper certification.

Please add a note to your calendars.  There will be NO SBBA lunch in April.  We hope you’ll come to the Happy Hour on April 24th at Mulligan’s (same room as usual) from 5:30 to 7:30PM.  The cost will be $13.00.  It will include a variety of appetizers.  The bar will be no host.  RSVP to Vicki St. Martin at vickistmartin@cox.net one week prior to the event.
