DECEMBER LUNCHEON MEETING

Many thanks and gratitude to Mary Cathcart, Roxanne Russell and Caron Garliepp for organizing our superb December luncheon held at the Enterprise Fish Co.. It was a HUGE success, with 60 people both signing up and showing up (a record!) and it appeared to me we all enjoyed each others company, food and atmosphere greatly.  With all the rush and
bustle of the holiday season, I particularly noticed an air of calm (or was it exhaustion!)  It was a "family affair" of sorts, and the presence of the children completely rounded out the event. (Those beautiful little stockings/mittens we each found at our place setting, were hand sewn by Mary Cathcart, and help with decorating and stuffing by Roxanne and Caron. They added such a festive surprise. Thank you!)

Another wonderful element of our gathering and group, was the organization and contributions made on behalf of the Unity Shoppe. All items which were generously brought to the luncheon have been delivered.

Those whom participated in the gift exchange seemed to enjoy that extra added element as well.
